Pappa Cooks 2 was created by Chef Jack who has a 30 plus year back round in the restaurant industry as a Chef/Owner of five restaurants, starting at the age of 19 with his first Deli and Catering business, Restaurant Consultant helping other owners with menus and operations, and also working with corporate restaurant chains such as Applebees and TGI Fridays. He started cooking at the age of 8 years old when he made parsley eggs for his father with his mother watching.  His mother was so proud and told everyone she new, especially aunts and uncles, and at that time, he realized that food made people happy and even more so, it made him happy to cook for somebody knowing that it put a smile on someone’s face.  From that time on, every Sunday he would help his mother in the kitchen cook Sunday sauce, or as he calls it being from Philadelphia/New Jersey, “gravy”, with pasta, meatballs and Italian sausage.  Making the meatballs was special and his mother taught him how they should taste and smell, even before they started making them, to this day, Chef Jack still prepares his meatballs the same way, along with every other dish that he made and was taught, by his mother and grandmother.  Using fresh local ingredients and imported Italian specialty items, are staple in every dish he makes and he goes out of his way to source them for each dish he cooks.

He has gone back to his roots and is specializing in homemade authentic Italian food that he grew up on and cooks for his own family nightly, in the way his mother and grandmother taught him with fresh ingredients and cooking with the love he has for what he does.  Pappa Cooks 2 provides what he believes is missing in the local food industry, authentic, never frozen or mass produced, entrees and family style meals to help people and families, eat homemade Italian cooking that is made to order.  Chef Jack loves to feed people and wants to cook for you!
